Vlogger and presenter Karthik Surya, known for his creative content, previously went viral on social media with his video showcasing '60 Places in Kerala in 60 seconds'. Set to the song 'Manassilayo', the video captured stunning scenes from all 14 districts of Kerala, promoting the state's tourism potential. The video gained widespread attention, even receiving a share from Minister Muhammad Riyas.
Now, another video by Karthik is making waves online. This time, the vlogger documented his journey on the Vivek Express, India's longest train, in a 16-minute video. Starting from Kanyakumari, Karthik explored the train, which he claims has some of the worst reviews online.
Karthik revealed the challenging conditions in the sleeper coach, where passengers were seen sleeping on the floor. Highlighting the less-than-ideal travel experience, he noted that sleeping peacefully was out of the question. He also purchased food for his fellow passengers.
Karthik took it upon himself to clean one of the train's toilet. Sharing his experience, he said, "To be honest, I didn’t expect this will be clean. I did it alone and it wasn’t easy, but it’s proof that if one person takes the initiative, change can happen."
While many have applauded Karthik's effort for shedding light on railway hygiene and helping his co-passengers, others have criticized him for allegedly seeking views through dramatic gestures. Despite the mixed reactions, Karthik's latest video has sparked discussions about the need for improved facilities on India's trains.
