Three missing women found safe in forest, to reach home soon

KOCHI: Three women who went missing in the forest at Kuttampuzha in Kothamangalam have been found. Malokudi Maya Jayan, Kavumpadi Parukutty Kunjumon and Puthenpura Darley Stephen were found in the forest area of Attikkalam in Kuttampuzha.

The women were found six kilometers away from Arakkamuthi. Malayattoor DFO Srinivas responded that all three are safe. The women were found in a joint search conducted by the officials of the forest department and locals.

The team that left the forest with the women will reach home in an hour. The DFO clarified that as a vehicle cannot go in the dense forest, they are brought walking.
The women went missing when they went to the forest in search of their missing cow. Maya's cow went missing on Wednesday. The women left home yesterday afternoon in search of the cow.

The cow had returned home by evening. Maya Jayan had spoken to her husband at 4 pm. Maya was informed about the return of the cow. However, on their way back, seeing an elephant, they were hiding in the forest.
