Cigarette butt found in Biriyani from famous hotel; huge protest

HYDERABAD: In a staggering incident, cigarette residue was found inside biriyani served from a posh hotel in Hyderabad. The incident took place at a hotel on RTC X Road in Hyderabad. The photos and videos of the incident are now widely spreading across social media.

Recently, a batch of youngsters reached the hotel to try their popular cuisine — Biriyani. While having the food, some of the youngsters noticed cigarette butts and other residues strewn across the dish. The youngsters protested and lifted the plate to show the cigarette butt found in the food. In the video, it can be seen how the staff are trying to ameliorate tension. Salman Mansoori is the owner of the hotel.

It was alleged that the chef was smoking while preparing the dish and in haste might have unknowingly thrown the butt into the platter. It was youngster Vineeth K who shared the video on X on November 25th. So far, more than 14,300 people have watched the video.

Recently, the food safety department conducted lightning inspections in various hotels in Hyderabad. On that day, three hotels were closed due to unsanitary conditions.
