Aleppey Ashraf takes a dig at Prem Kumar for his endosulfan remark 

Chalachitra Academy Chairman Prem Kumar's remark that some Malayalam serials are more deadly than endosulfan has sparked a huge controversy. Many from the serial and film industry, including Hareesh Peradi, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Seema G Nair, had come forward against Prem Kumar.

Director and producer Alleppey Ashraf has now criticized Prem Kumar. He asked Prem Kumar to pay attention to the many things that need to be done in the film industry without obstructing the livelihood of many serial workers. Actress Srividya's hard earned assets in crores reached the government through Ganesh Kumar. Srividya's wish was to form a trust and establish a dance school and teach dance to poor girls. The cultural department has not yet fulfilled her wish.

The foundation created in the name of Prem Nazir is inactive. The welfare fund pension being given to artists has been stalled. Prem Kumar can give his opinion on all this. Alappey Ashraf, former member of the censor board, asked Prem Kumar to speak up for the correction or implementation of the recommendations in the Hema Committee report.
