WAYANAD: Wayanad MP Priyanka Gandhi said that she would do everything within her jurisdiction to make sure that the landslide-affected people of Wayanad get proper assistance. Priyanka said this while touring the Wayanad constituency after taking oath as a member of parliament.
"I would raise the issues and crises of the people of Wayanad in the Parliament. I'm thanking you from the bottom of my heart for what you have given me. We need to learn a lot from the resilience of people who faced the disaster. The entire nation should watch and learn how the entire state of Kerala came together to support the disaster-affected victims. Even tourists are hesitant to visit Wayanad after the disaster. We need to change that. The people of Wayanad deserve a better future, and I hope I can contribute to that," Priyanka Gandhi said.
"I will raise my voice for the people of Wayanad till my last day in Parliament. There is no political decency in BJP's behaviour. I'm deeply aware of the problems faced by the people of Wayanad constituency. I will fight to solve those problems. People can come to me anytime with their problems," she said.
