KOZHIKODE: A 19-year-old girl travelling alone in a KSRTC bus has been forcibly made to deboard from a KSRTC bus. The incident occurred at Thamarassery in Kozhikode. She was travelling from Bengaluru to Thamarassery. The incident happened around 10 pm last night.

The girl doing her aviation course in Bengaluru was deboarded from the bus. It is also alleged that the bus did not stop at the place requested by the girl. The girl wanted to deboard at the Thamarassery old stand area. However, the bus stopped at a place called Karadi. She later called her father on the phone.

She has filed a complaint with the KSRTC authorities against the employees of the bus. The transport minister has sought a report on the incident. The minister had earlier directed that women should be dropped off wherever they requested. This was violated now.
