Biker sustains injuries seeing Shine Tom Chacko in police attire 

MALAPPURAM: An accident was reported during a film shoot at Edappal in Malappuram. The accident occurred when a youth seeing actor Shine Tom Chacko in police attire, applied brake on his vehicle thinking it was police patrol, during the film shooting. He slipped and fell on the road and sustained injuries.

The incident took place on the Edappal Ponnani Road at around 10 am Sunday morning. The accident happened during the shooting of Shine Tom Chacko's movie 'Soothravakyam'. The actor was standing on the road in a police uniform. Meanwhile, a youth, who was on his scooter, suddenly applied a brake, thinking it was police patrolling. There was water on the road due to rain. The youth slipped and fell on the road sustaining injuries. Following the incident, Shine and the film crew took the youth to the hospital. He suffered only minor injuries. The actor left after taking a selfie with the youth. The visuals of it are being circulated on social media.

Apart from Shine Tom, other important characters in the film include Vincy Aloshious and Deepak Parambol. 'Soothravakyam' is the first film in Malayalam by Cinema Bandi, a leading Telugu film production company. The script is written and directed by newcomer Eugien Jose Chirammel. The story is that of Regin S Babu, who also directed and scripted the film Pendulum.
