Popular serial actress Shobhitha found dead in apartment

HYDERABAD: Popular television actress Shobhitha Shivanna was found dead at her residence on Sunday. She was 30. Shobhitha, a popular face in the Kannada television industry, purportedly took her life at her Hyderabad residence, leaving all the fans in disbelief.

The actress hails from Sakleshpur in Hassan district of Karnataka. After marriage, she moved to Hyderabad along with her husband. The authorities are investigating the death news while it is reported that her body will be brought to Bengaluru for final rites.

Shobhitha’s popular work includes 'Galipata', 'Mangala Gowri', 'Krishna Rukmini' and 'Ammavru'.

After her marriage two years ago, Shobhitha distanced away from the Kannada industry and searched for work in the Telugu cine field. She was very active on social media and used to interact with her fans. The sudden death has shocked the whole industry while condolence messages are pouring from all quarters.
