DHAKA: 63 ISKCON monks, who were travelling to India to participate in a religious ritual, were stopped at the border by Bangladesh. Despite having all the necessary documents, including passports, the monks were stopped by the Bangladeshi authorities without a clear explanation.

The incident occurred at the Benapole Land Port on the international border on Saturday and Sunday. The new incident comes amid ongoing attacks on minorities, including Hindus, in Bangladesh.
