Kodakara Hawala case; confidential statement of Tirur Satheesh to be recorded; court grants permission

THRISSUR: The court has granted permission to record the statement of former BJP office secretary Tirur Satheesh in the Kodakara Hawala case. The Thrissur CJM court gave permission to take a confidential statement. The secret statement will be recorded in the Kunnamkulam court. The court has not fixed a date for this.

Tirur Satheesh had revealed that the hawala money was brought to the BJP district committee office. Satheesh revealed that before the Kodakara heist, Rs 9 crore was brought to the BJP office in a sack. Satheesh had also said that people including the district president were present there.

The money was brought to the office with the knowledge of state president K Surendran. Crores of rupees were brought in sacks in the name of election equipment. Satheesh had said that after paying an amount to the Thrissur office the remaining money was taken away and that he was a witness in all this.
