Fellow passenger assaulted on train; Railways files case against policeman

KOCHI: The Railway Police has registered a case against a police circle inspector who misbehaved with a female passenger on a train. The case has been registered against Abdul Hakeem, a native of Agali, Palakkad. The complaint is that the woman was assaulted. The incident took place while the woman was travelling on the Palaruvi Express from Kollam.

When the train reached Ernakulam, the complainant woman informed the Railway Police about the matter. The picture of the accused was also taken on the phone on the same day. Subsequent investigation revealed that the accused was a police officer.
