SWITZERLAND: A probe has been launched against the crew of the flight after a video of a couple having sex inside the flight went viral on social media. An investigation has been launched against the crew members of Swiss International Airlines. The action was taken on the allegation that the couple's privacy was violated.
The incident took place in November during a 12-hour drive from Bangkok to Zurich, Switzerland. During the journey, the couple had sex in an empty space near the first-class seats. A video of this was circulated on social media. However, the airline has not officially commented on the investigation. The footage was captured on a camera placed above the door of the cockpit. This camera, which is installed for surveillance related to the safety of the pilot, does not have a recording system. The initial conclusion is that the footage that came live may have been captured by someone on the flight deck.
The suspicion swells to the pilot and the flight attendant who were on the deck at the time of the incident. Local media quoted an airline spokesperson as saying that filming and sharing the footage without the consent of individuals is against the company's guidelines.
