Director Jis Joy said that he went to Thiruvananthapuram and dubbed without any hope when the movie 'Arya' came in 2007. Since Allu Arjun's debut film Arya, he has been voiced by Jis in Malayalam. Jis Joy is a must for all Allu Arjun movies despite being a busy director. Talking about Allu Arjun's growth, Jis Joy says Khader Hassan is definitely someone who should not be left out.

"Allu Arjun should never forget Khader Hassan, neither should I, nor should the industry. Because it was Khader Hassan who brought a guy called Allu Arjun here and presented him on hoardings and posters all over Kerala like a Malayalam movie star.

I was very busy dubbing in serials at that time. I had no experience of dubbing films. At that time I was committed to many serials including Kayamkulam Kochunni. It was then that Khader Haasan called and informed me that he was introducing a new guy from Telugu and he wanted the voice of Kayamkulam Kochunni.

No matter how many takes it didn't feel right. Khader Haasan was such a perfectionist. I didn't understand it then. Even after four hours, not even two scenes were done. Finally I asked for the script. Script was by Satish Muthukulam. There were 92 scenes. I sat down with my hands on my head. It got so boring.

Finally, the dubbing continued again with the assurance that it was enough to say the correction after dubbing the whole thing. From there I dubbed about twenty films of Allu. My voice identity changed to Allu. I am enjoying it.''
