Maoist attack repeats in Chhattisgarh; Anganwadi worker killed

JAIPUR: Another Maoist attack in Chhattisgarh. Anganwadi worker has been killed by a Maoist group. The attack took place in Thimmapur in Bijapur district. 45-year-old Lakshmi Padma was killed. She was allegedly killed for giving information about the Maoists to the police.

Police said that after the attack, the Maoists left the body of the woman in the yard of the house and escaped. The police informed that they are searching for the attackers. Officials say that more than 60 people have been killed in Maoist attacks in Chhattisgarh so far this year.
