'I’ve never spoken to Naveen Babu in my life'; P Sasi denies P V Anvar's allegations

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister's political secretary P Sasi has responded to the allegations levelled by Nilambur MLA P V Anwar in connection with the death of former Kannur ADM Naveen Babu. P Sasi criticized via a Facebook post saying that today’s statement is proof that Anwar has reached a point where he has to exist only by telling lies and which has nothing to do with the facts.

I have never had a situation in my life to contact or talk to former Kannur ADM Naveen Babu for any reason. What the MLA said in connection with Naveen Babu, with whom I have no relationship in any way, are lies and false accusations. Legal steps will be taken against him for trying to insult in public. Two cases have already been filed in the court against the insulting and false propaganda.

Anwar at a press meet in Delhi alleged that Kannur ADM Naveen Babu knew about the mysterious dealings of the chief minister's political secretary. Naveen had informed his family about P Sasi's pressure. Naveen Babu had difficulty in working due to Sasi's interference. He will join the case in the high court. Anwar had also stated in the press conference that he will ask the court to investigate Sasi's role.
