Solider killed in landmine blast in Poonch in Jammu and Kashmir

SRINAGAR: A soldier was martyred in a landmine blast in Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir. The deceased was Havildar V Subbayya. The blast occurred near the Line of Control (LoC). According to sources, the blast occurred after the soldier, who was on duty in the Saujiyan sector of Mendhar, accidentally stepped on the landmine. Further investigation has been initiated into the incident.
