ABU DHABI: Reports said Abu Dhabi is expecting to create 20,000 job opportunities in the life science sector over the next decade. Abu Dhabi executive council member and chairman of the department of health, Mansour Al Mansouri, said on Monday that the emirate expects to add an additional 100 billion dirhams to its GDP by 2035 and that the life sciences sector will create 20,000 jobs.
Life sciences are the study of living organisms and processes, including microorganisms, plants, animals and humans. Life sciences have four main branches. Biology, anatomy, astrobiology and biotechnology. There are also some other branches.
Health is the most important thing for us, said Mansour Al Mansouri. 'Our health is our wealth. A healthy population ensures social well-being and fuels economic growth. We aim to create the most intelligent and efficient system by providing personalized and preventive care to excel in the healthy lifestyle of our population,” he said.
This project implemented by Abu Dhabi is expected to benefit many expatriates in the future. Expatriates are needed in this sector in many gulf countries implementing nationalization. It is expected that many including Indians can take advantage of this opportunity.
