Fire at grocery shop in Idukki; gas cylinders stored exploded

IDUKKI: A fire broke out at a grocery shop in Thankamani, Idukki Thursday morning at 5.30 am. Some gas cylinders stored in the shop exploded. The shop has been completely gutted in the fire. Reports said that no one was injured in the incident. The fire force rushed to the spot and extinguished the fire.

A fire broke out at Kalluvila Stores owned by Joy of Puthen Veettil, Kalluvila. Some buildings nearby caused damages after the gas cylinder exploded. The initial conclusion is that a short circuit is the cause of the fire. The fire force said that around 10 gas cylinders were stored here. No further details of the incident have been released.
