Varun Dhawan and Keerthy Suresh starrer Baby John, which hit the theaters on Christmas day, is failing at the box office. The film failed to earn the expected collection even after the third day of its release. The information has been released by Sacnilk, which publishes statistics on the release and collections of films. Baby John collected just 3.65 crores at the box office on its third day. This is much less than the previous day. The film has collected only 19.65 crores so far.

Meanwhile, Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 2 is continuing its run with flawless collections at the box office even after three weeks of release. Pushpa 2 collected 10.5 crores on Friday alone. It is estimated that if Baby John can enter the 50 crore club in the first week after its release, the movie can continue without much loss. Experts also observe that the absence of big-budget film releases in the near future may benefit Baby John.

Kalees is the director of Baby John. Starring Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh and Wamikha Gabbi are also playing the lead roles. Baby John is a remake of Tamil actor Vijay's Atlee Kumar film Theri. Atlee is one of the producers of Baby John. The director has already said that some scenes from Theri have been completely changed in Baby John.
