MUMBAI: It is now time for Marco to shine following the dismal box office run of Varun Dhawan’s ‘Baby John’. The Unni Mukundan movie has already amassed Rs 50 crore from total collection while ‘Baby John’ has hit rock bottom with most shows going empty even in North India. Minding the festive season and the increasing popularity of the Malayalam action movie, most theatres have decided to replace ‘Baby John’ with the Hindi version of ‘Marco’. As per reports, 140 extra shows have been added for Marco’s Hindi version across the Hindi belt.
Considering the festive season and the lack of entertaining movies, Marco is all set to explore new waters and may repeat something similar to the ‘Manjummel Boys’ wave in Tamil Nadu. Hindi audiences have already gone gaga over the movie as many have responded it eerily similar to or much better than KGF.
Many Hindi audiences are massively rating the movie and it gives a possibility of a Mollywood coup in the Bollywood arena. Unni Mukundan has also shared the news of 'Marco' getting more shows in North India. It seems like the actor’s perseverance has started giving him the desired results. It won’t be an overstatement now to say that this Gujarat-born Mallu would possibly turn into an overnight sensation in Bollywood. Let's wait and see.
