THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The postmortem report of actor Dilip Shankar is out. The report says his death is due to internal bleeding. It is concluded that this could be due to the bleeding following liver disease or the contusion after falling down. The police said the exact cause will be known only after getting the results of the chemical test.
The preliminary conclusion of the police is that the death of Dilip Shankar is not a suicide. The police had clarified that they did not find any evidence leading to suicide in the search conducted in his room. The police also suspect that Dileep may have hit his head in the room. The internal organs have been sent for scientific examination. A search in the room found liquor bottles and medicine for liver disease.
