THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan strongly criticized Maharashtra BJP Minister Nitesh Rane's remark describing Kerala as a "mini Pakistan." Calling the statement provocative and unacceptable, the Chief Minister stated that it reflects the Sangh Parivar's underlying attitude towards Kerala.

"The Sangh Parivar believes that they can isolate regions where they are struggling to gain influence by resorting to hate campaigns. Such remarks stem from that mindset. A minister making such hateful comments is unfit for the role. It is shocking that the party in power at the Centre has not taken action against this serious breach of the oath of office and disrespect towards the Constitution," the Chief Minister remarked.

Nitesh Rane stirred controversy recently by claiming that Rahul and Priyanka won elections in Kerala because the state had turned into a "mini Pakistan." During a function in Pune, he also accused the Congress leaders of securing victories in Kerala with the help of terrorist organizations.
