WELLINGTON: New Zealand has revised its visa procedures to streamline the immigration process. Visa duration, work experience criteria and wages have been modified. It is reported that such steps have been taken to make immigration easier for employees and employers.

Work experience has been reduced from three to two years. From now on, you can get a job in New Zealand with two years of work experience. This new change is expected to help more people immigrate to New Zealand from India. This will open many job opportunities for Indians in New Zealand.

According to the new law, workers should be paid according to the market rate. In addition, from April 2025, interim employment rights will be granted to those wishing to transfer from a student visa or any other employment to an approved employer employment visa. Post study work visa has also been revised.
