'Sorry, we will act together in the next film. Chechi acted so beautifully. What a fun it was to watch. The scene was cut due to its length. Don't cry anymore. We've all been through this situation chechi, it's going to be cool. Don't be sad anymore, okay?" Asif comforted Sulekha.
The actor said this in the press meet also. 'A lady who acted in Rekhachithram was seen crying terribly. Her name is Sulekha. I thought she was crying because of the emotion of watching the film. When I approached her, she said that she had acted in a two-shot scene. Often, we can't get everything we shot in the final edit. The sequence she acted in was gone in the final edit."
"A lot of friends and family had come to watch the movie with her. It was only when she saw the movie that she realized that she was not in the movie. It caused her a lot of trouble," the actor said. Many people are complimenting Asif Ali after the video of him consoling his co-star went viral.
