Maa Ki Rasoi Community Kitchen inaugurated; dal, four rotis, vegetables, rice, salad, and dessert for just nine rupees!

LUCKNOW: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has launched a scheme to provide nutritious meals that include Dal, four rotis, vegetables, rice, salad, and a dessert for just nine rupees. The Maa Ki Rasoi Community Kitchen was inaugurated ahead of the Maha Kumbh Mela. According to the UP government, Ma Ki Rasoi is working for the economically backward people.

Ma Ki Rasoi is fully AC and will be operated by the Nandi Sewa Sansthan in a 2000 sq ft area at the Swaroop Rani Nehru Hospital campus. Around 150 people can eat together here at a time. Ma Ki Rasoi will benefit those who come for treatment at SRN Hospital and economically backward people.

Kumbh Mela is held once in three years. Mahakumbh Mela is held once in 12 years. The last Mahakumbh Mela was held in 2013. This year's Mahakumbh Mela has been organized from January 13 to February 25, 2025.
