All three field trials successful; India's Nag Mk-2 missile to soon be part of armed forces

NEW DELHI: Nag Mk-2, the third generation Anti-Tank Fire and Forget Guided Missile indigenously developed by DRDO, has been successfully field tested. The test was conducted at the Pokhran Field Range in the presence of senior officers of the Army. Three field trials have been conducted so far. As the striking power of the missile has been proved, it will soon be part of the force. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh congratulated DRDO and Army for the successful missile test.

The Nag missile is capable of destroying enemy tanks and other armoured vehicles at a distance of 4-7 km.
