Six soldiers injured in landmine blast in Jammu Kashmir's Rajouri

SRINAGAR: Six soldiers were injured in a landmine blast in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday. The incident took place in Rajouri district. The news agency reported that one of the soldiers accidentally stepped on a landmine around 10:45 am, causing the explosion. The injured have been shifted to hospital. Officials informed that the health condition of all six persons was satisfactory. No further details of the incident have been released.

A CRPF jawan in Chhattisgarh was injured in an IED planted by Maoists on Saturday. The incident took place in Bijapur district. The blast occurred during an operation conducted by a team of 196 battalions of CRPF in the Mahadev Ghat area. Sources in the CRPF said that the blast was triggered by a CRPF jawan walking over an IED while on patrol. The injured jawan was admitted to Bijapur District Hospital. On Friday, a villager was killed and three others injured when IEDs planted by Maoists exploded at two places in Narayanpur district.
