PALAKKAD: Two Forest Department staff were arrested for possession of tiger and leopard claws. Sundaran, a forest watcher from Nelliyampathy in Palakkad, and Surendran, a temporary watcher in Palakkayam, were apprehended during an inspection by the Forest Intelligence team.
The authorities seized 12 leopard claws, two tiger claws, and four leopard teeth from the possession of the two during the inspection conducted in Palakkayam, Palakkad. The duo was caught by the Thiruvananthapuram Forest Intelligence while they were transporting the items on a two-wheeler for sale.
