Naked body of businessman found in hotel room, woman who was with him missing; police launch investigation

LUCKNOW: A businessman was found dead in the bathroom of a hotel room in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Rajasthan native Nilesh Bhandari (44) was found dead the other day. The police have initiated an investigation into the incident.

Nilesh had checked into the hotel in the Kamta area two days earlier. According to Additional Deputy Commissioner Pankaj Kumar Singh, the businessman was accompanied by a woman at the time of check-in. Nilesh's body was discovered yesterday, but the woman who was with him is now missing. Investigating officers are currently searching for her.

Police revealed that Nilesh was married, and his family resides in the Jalore district of Rajasthan. His wife and other family members have been informed about his death. It was the hotel staff who alerted the police after discovering the unresponsive guest. The body has been sent for a post-mortem examination following an inquest. The exact cause of death will be known only after the post-mortem report is received.

“The body was found in the bathroom of the hotel room, unclothed. There were no visible injuries on his body. Efforts are underway to locate the woman who was with him. Nilesh's relatives have arrived in Lucknow. The body will be handed over to the family after the post-mortem,” police stated.
