Court grants bail to four arrested in abduction case of Kala Raju

KOCHI: Bail has been granted to the four accused arrested in the abduction case of Kala Raju, Koothattukulam Municipal Councilor. The bail was granted by Muvattupuzha first class judicial magistrate.

CPM branch secretary Arun V Mohan, party activists Sajith Abraham, Rins Varghese and Tony Baby have been granted bail. They are accused from six to nine in the case. They will be released from jail by this evening.

The police arrested the four accused the other day after the UDF intensified protest over the kidnapping of Kala Raju. Meantime, Kala Raju had also responded that it was not the arrested people who kidnapped her.
