Still stuck with favorite hobby; Greeshma gets medicines from jail pharmacy

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Greeshma, who was awarded the death penalty in the Sharon murder case, is currently lodged in Attukulangara jail. As she was sentenced to death, Greeshma will not get bail or parole in the case till the appeal is heard by the higher courts.

She was brought to the jail as the first inmate of 2025. As per the rule, those sentenced to death should be kept in solitary confinement. But Greeshma is lodged in a cell along with four other inmates. If her appeal gets rejected by higher courts and then the president, Greeshma will be transferred to solitary confinement. Since her crime was proven in court, Greeshma will have to do the chores and other work assigned at the jail. She can either opt for tailoring or work in the food department or the handicraft unit.

It is reported that she spent most of her time inside the cell indulging in her favourite pastime; painting. On the last day, Greeshma reached the pharmacy department inside the jail and got medicines for body pain.

On October 14, 2022, Greeshma mixed poison in an Ayurveda potion and gave it to her beau Sharon. After battling for eleven days in hospital, Sharon succumbed to death. It is said that his internal organs were in a rotten state.
