Hit by train while attempting to retrieve earphones that fell on railway track; 18-year-old meets with tragic end

CHENNAI: In a tragic incident, a student died after being hit by a train while attempting to retrieve his earphones that fell on the railway track. The incident took place at Kodambakkam railway station in Tamil Nadu. The deceased has been identified as Rajagopal (18), a native of Villupuram.

While walking, Rajagopal's earphones accidentally fell onto the track. The accident occurred as he tried to retrieve it. The body has been shifted to a hospital. It will be handed over to the family after the postmortem. The police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the incident.
