Malayali youth dies on his flight back home from Romania

PUTHUKKAD: A young man passed away during his flight back home from Romania. Nishad (34), son of Chengaloor native Chandran, died onboard a flight from Qatar to Nedumbassery. Nishad had travelled from Romania to Qatar and boarded a connecting flight to Kerala.

Working as a fitter in Romania, Nishad had left for his job three months ago. He was returning home for treatment due to health issues. He had informed his family that he would arrive on a Qatar Airways flight at 10 AM on Sunday. However, his family, who were waiting for him at the airport with an ambulance, received the tragic news of his death.

Nishad is survived by his wife, Athulya, mother, Thankamani, sister, Nisha, and daughter Janaki (two and a half years old).
