'No case registered against Rahul Easwar' : Police tells court

KOCHI: Police confirmed not registering any case against Rahul Easwar on the complaint of actress Honey Rose. The actress filed a complaint against Rahul Easwar for insulting womanhood and inciting the crowd to make abusive remarks against her. The Ernakulam Central Police submitted this report while the court was considering Rahul's anticipatory bail plea today.

According to the report submitted by the police in the High Court, a preliminary investigation is underway. When Rahul earlier approached for anticipatory bail, the court sought a response from the police and didn’t stop the arrest. It was informed that the court will consider the petition on the 28th.

Apart from Honey Rose, Saleem, a native of Thrissur also filed a complaint against Rahul Easwar for making disparaging comments about the actress on a live television debate.
