PUNE: India defeated England by 15 runs in the fourth T20 match, sealing the series 3-1 with one match remaining. Chasing a target of 182 runs, England's innings ended at 166 in 19.4 overs. Concussion substitute Harshit Rana and Ravi Bishnoi, who both took three wickets each, dismantled the English batting lineup.

England got off to a strong start, with openers Philip Salt (23 off 21 balls) and Ben Duckett (39 off 19 balls) adding 62 runs in the first six overs. However, their partnership was broken soon after. Captain Jos Buttler (2 off 3 balls) departed quickly, and though Harry Brook (51 off 26 balls) provided hope with five fours and two sixes, the middle order collapsed.

Liam Livingstone (9 off 13 balls), Jacob Bethell (6 off 9 balls), Brydon Carse (0 off 2 balls), and Jofra Archer (0 off 2 balls) all fell cheaply. In the 19th over, Jamie Overton (19 off 15 balls) attempted to fight back, even getting a lifeline when Sanju Samson dropped a catch. However, he was clean-bowled by Harshit Rana on the last ball of the same over. This left England needing 19 runs in the final over with only one wicket remaining.

In the final over, bowled by Arshdeep Singh, England’s innings came to an end when Saqib Mahmood (1 off 2 balls) was dismissed on the fourth ball, sealing India's victory. While Ravi Bishnoi and Harshit Rana took three wickets each, Varun Chakravarthy took 2 wickets. Arshdeep Singh and Axar Patel got 1 wicket each.

England won the toss and elected to field. India's innings initially stumbled but recovered due to fifties from Hardik Pandya and Shivam Dube.
