Bomb threat again at hotel in Thiruvananthapuram, message sent in name of Mumbai blasts accused

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A hotel in the capital city received a bomb threat Sunday morning. The hotel manager of Forte Manor Hotel near Thampanoor received the email message around 11 am this morning. The message said that a human bomb would explode at 2.30 pm. The email message was in the name of Mumbai blasts accused Yakub Memon.


Many including the bomb squad are inspecting the spot. This is the third time in the last one month that a bomb threat has been made against hotels in Thiruvananthapuram. There were threats against hotels Taj and Hyatt before this. It was later found to be hoax.


There was a bomb threat at Pookode Veterinary University the other day. The bomb threat was sent to the vice chancellor and registrar via email. The threat was that revenge would be taken on the anniversary of the hanging of Parliament attack case accused Afzal Guru. The threat was that a bomb had been planted in the university. The message came from the ID named Nivedya.
