Famous singer and actress Sayonara Philip revealed that she has experienced significant body shaming since childhood. She also shared that voicing her opinions on public matters has subjected her to heavy criticism. In an interview with a YouTube channel, Sayonara mentioned that cyberattacks have deeply affected her peace of mind.

"I have faced a lot of cyber attacks. I mostly travel alone. My hometown is Kannur, but I'm now living in Kochi. I used to travel alone from Kannur to Kochi. At that time, Uber wasn’t available in many places. When the Uber car I booked arrived, some auto-rickshaw drivers near the station tried to harass him. I made a video about it. I was really upset, and it led to a lot of cyber attacks. I was sitting in the car, and the drivers asked me to get out," she said.

Sayonara also mentioned that she received cyber attacks for a video she made with Bhavana. "I had also spoken out after a girl named Soumya was murdered while travelling alone by train. At that time, some people blamed Soumya for travelling alone. There was a time when I used to respond on Facebook, but I’ve stopped now. Peace is the priority. I've also faced a lot of criticism regarding my dress and a lot of body-shaming. People mostly focus on my body, complexion, and other physical attributes, and then they engage in body-shaming through social media," Sayonara said.
