THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A woman has been found dead in Venjaramoodu in Thiruvananthapuram. Venjaramoodu Mukkunnoor native Praveena (32) was found hanging inside the house. Her family had previously filed a complaint with the police, alleging that Praveena had been harassed by some individuals. Praveena's brother Praveen claimed that the police, however, did not take any action in this regard.

Praveen alleged that false rumours were spread against his sister and that some locals and family members were behind it. He stated that his sister was mentally distressed over this. He also stated that someone had sent inappropriate messages to her mobile phone. Praveen further alleged that the other day, an unidentified person on a bike rammed into Praveena's vehicle and that she sustained serious injuries in the accident.
