Speaking in an interview with Filmfare, Parvathy revealed that she had gone through mental struggles, which even affected her eating habits, and that they contributed to cracks in some relationships.

“At that time, I was in a relationship with a wonderful person. But I used to get angry very easily, even my hunger would trigger my anger. It ended that relationship. After a few years, when I met him again, I apologized. That experience taught me to be very careful before entering a relationship,” Parvathy said.

She clarified that she has been single for several years now. "I maintain friendly relations with most of my ex-partners. I've never been in a relationship with any actors or directors from the film industry, but I've dated technicians. It wasn’t something planned. It’s really nice to be with someone who understands cinema," she said.

She added that she isn’t interested in dating apps, even though her profile is present on them. "I prefer to meet someone in person and fall in love after getting to know him," Parvathy added.
