'Impact player of Delhi elections'; Swati Maliwal's redemption is complete

NEW DELHI: BJP is all set to take the throne in the national capital after waiting for a gruelling 27 years. The Aam Aadmi Party, which was in power for the last decade is bruised left right and centre. Shockingly, national leaders of AAP including former CM Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia lost to BJP while Atishi Marlena won by a slender margin. Allegations of corruption and internal strife are purported to be the downfall of AAP in Delhi.

Among loads of crises ongoing within AAP, the tiff between Arvind Kejriwal and former party loyalist Swati Maliwal was special, which many opines helped swerve the elections in BJP ‘s favour. Now, a post shared by Swati Maliwal on X is going viral on social media.

Maliwal shared a painting from epic Mahabharata of Dushyasana trying to disrobe Panchali in the Karuvar court. Maliwal through this post is symbolically addressing the humiliation she faced from the personal security guard of Arvind Kejriwal, right in front of the former AAP chief minister.

Swati’s post is now that talk of social media while memes and trolls are also coming in abundant taking jibes at AAP’s downfall. A few days ago, Swati Maliwal brought three trucks of garbage and dumped them right in front of Kejriwal’s residence to protest against Delhi’s terrible garbage management issues.

Maliwal was accompanied by several women in the protest that took place during the final phase of campaigning. Political analysts deem Maliwal’s role in the elections as a crucial one that hammered the final nail on AAP’s dream of winning Delhi again.
