Aluva native dies after car falls into ravine in UAE

ALUVA: An Aluva native was killed after a car plunged into a ravine in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. The deceased has been identified as Afsal (43) from Thottakkattukara. The accident occurred in the early hours of yesterday.

Afsal worked as a sales officer at a real estate firm in Ras Al Khaimah. The incident took place while he was returning from a construction site to his residence. The vehicle, carrying six people, veered off the road after the road collapsed, causing it to fall into the ravine. Doctors confirmed that Afsal suffered a fatal heart attack during the accident. Fortunately, none of the other passengers sustained serious injuries.

Efforts are underway to repatriate the body to India. Afsal is the son of Kunjumuhammed and Jubairiyath. He is survived by his wife Shibina and children Meharish and Inara. His brothers, Shiyas and Asif, also work as sales officers in the real estate sector in Ras Al Khaimah.
