'Party loses, all big leaders lose'; Yet Atishi dances to celebrate, criticized

NEW DELHI: Chief Minister Atishi Marlena has been severely criticized for dancing even when her Aam Aadmi Party faced a major setback in the Delhi assembly elections. A video of Atishi, also an Aam Aadmi Party leader, dancing after her victory in the Kalkaji constituency, is being circulated on social media. Many are asking how Atishi can dance even after the government has lost and all the prominent leaders of the party, including Kejriwal, have lost.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal slammed Atishi after she was seen dancing after her victory. 'What kind of shameless display is this? The party has lost, all the big leaders lost, and Atishi is celebrating like this?', tweeted Swati. Atishi retained the Kalkaji seat by securing 52,154 votes. Atishi defeated BJP's Ramesh Bidhuri by a margin of 3,521 votes.
