DySP arrested for driving official vehicle at high speed in inebriated condition

ALAPPUZHA: A DySP has been arrested for driving his official vehicle at high speed in an inebriated condition. The arrested is DySP Anil of state crime records bureau. He was later released on bail. The DySP was taken into custody by the Aroor police for speeding at Chandiroor in Alappuzha last night.

His statement was that the vehicle was used for official purposes. The police clarified that they will investigate the matter. It was recorded in the FIR that he drove the car in an inebriated condition endangering human life. There will also be a departmental inquiry against the DySP.
