PATHANAMTHITTA: The family of the 19-year-old woman found dead in Konni Murinjakal, came with more allegations in the death. Gayathri, aged 19, was found dead in the room of her rented house today.

Gayathri’s mother Raji, blamed a teacher in the army recruitment training center for mentally torturing her daughter and pushing her to death. According to Raji, the teacher at the centre used to take students for dating and often used to be involved in inappropriate chats with the mothers of students.

RAJI:

“That teacher would summon students to his room and force them to go on dating with him. My daughter was also asked to join him however she resisted. She told him about her proper upbringing and declined his dating offer. For this reply, she was asked not to attend class for the next three days. The teacher then ordered my daughter to ask me to call him. When I called him on the phone, the first thing he enquired was whether I had WhatsApp on my mobile.”

Raji, a hotel employee, when returned from work on Monday saw her daughter hanging inside her room. Gayathri was an Agniveer course student at the Army Recruitment Training Center in Adoor.
