Shine Tom Chacko, models acquitted in first cocaine case in Kerala

KOCHI: Actor Shine Tom Chacko has been acquitted in the cocaine case. The Ernakulam Sessions Court acquitted the accused in the drug case involving the actor. There was a total of eight accused in the case. All of them, except one, faced trial.

Advocate Raman Pillai appeared in the court on behalf of Shine Tom. Actor Shine Tom Chacko and the models were arrested in a raid conducted at a flat in Kochi's Kadavanthra on January 30 in 2015. The trial started in the additional sessions court in October 2018. This was the first cocaine case registered in Kerala.
