Recently, a woman who eloped with her brother-in-law uploaded a video defending her decision. The duo came live on social media informing relatives not to come searching for them again. The incident happened just a few days back and in no time the video became massively viral, also inviting severe criticism from netizens for the duo’s mindless act.

From the video:

“Forgive me. I am not interested in an arranged marriage and only gave consent because of pressure from family. I have been in love with my brother (sister’s husband) for a long time. My sister was aware of the whole affair and for all this time she was keeping mum to not worsen the issue.

Nobody from our family should come looking for us. We are going to live together. Till now, I have lived as per my family’s wish and not anymore. I’m doing this video under no pressure or blackmail. Please allow us to live together.’

According to the details, the man who eloped with his sister-in-law is the father of two children.

And on Monday, there came a big twist in the whole issue. As per reports, barely days after eloping, the duo has broken up.

“I don’t have any money left. Even, I sold my mobile phone. He left me before even travelling back home. We were in Guruvayoor. The police were informed and I told them my decision to not go with my parents again. I will move to an orphanage and will soon convert to Islam.”

This was the latest audio purported to be that from the eloped woman. This was released through a local media portal. The authenticity of the audio remains questionable.
