Youth found dead in Tripunithura, murder suspected

KOCHI: A youth was found dead at Eroor in Tripunithura. The dead is Sanal alias Thampy aged 43 of Eroor Perikkad. It is suspected to be a murder. Initial conclusion is that a dispute that broke out while consuming liquor led to the murder. One of Sanal’s friends has been taken into custody.

One is absconding. The police got information about a fight that broke out early this morning at 2 am. A search by the police found the body of Sanal. There was mud all over his face. Police said they suspect that he may have pushed to a marshy area. Further investigation into the incident is underway.
