Telugu actor who married his 'mother-in-law'; know details about viral couple

Telugu cine actors Indraneel and Meghna Raami are back again in the news for all the odd reasons. Recently some online channels published news with headlines “Telugu television star marries ‘mother-in-law’. Many jumped with caustic comments without checking upon its veracity. Indeed, Indraneel is married to an elder Meghna, who is now 44. The couple have been married for almost 20 years and are still living a happy life with their three children.

It also remains a fact that both Indraneel and Meghna have appeared together in soap operas with Meghna enacting the elder role for the most part.

Meghna first met Indraneel in 2003 on the sets of ‘Chakravakam’, an old popular tele serial. They both found a rapport and soon enough, Indraneel made the first move with a gentle proposal. Minding the big age gap, Meghna said a ‘No’. This shattered hopes but Indraneel was not ready to give up. According to Meghna’s revelation in an interview, Indraneel proposed to her a total of nine times, despite being faced with rejection back to back.

“Some people take my appearance and loud cadence for granted believing that I’m a matriarch at home, even dictating terms with my husband. But it is not the case.” Said Meghna.
