Verbal dispute with friends outside bar, youth stabbed succumbs to injuries 

KALPETTA: A youth stabbed during a verbal dispute with friends outside a bar succumbed to his injuries. Riyas (24) of Eriyapally in Gandhinagar died while undergoing treatment. The incident happened outside a bar in Pulpally last night. Riyas was stabbed during an argument with natives of Meenamkolli. The accused has not been identified.

Riyas was in a critical condition after being stabbed several times. The accused fled after the attack. The locals finally rushed the youth to a private hospital in Sultan Bathery. The doctors had recommended to shift the youth from here to Kozhikode Medical College for better treatment. He died in between this. The police have started a search for the accused.
