THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The detailed information in connection with the parole granted to the accused in the RMP leader TP Chandrasekharan murder case is out. The three accused in the case have been granted parole for more than a thousand days. This is the figure since the first Pinarayi government took office. The chief minister revealed this while replying to a question by Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan in the assembly.
The accused in the case, Trouser Manoj, Sajith, and K C Ramachandran were granted parole for more than a thousand days. K C Ramachandran has been granted parole for 1081 days, Manoj for 1068 days and Sajith for 1078 days.
The other accused-T K Rajeesh, have been granted parole for 940 days, Kirmani Manoj for 851 days, M C Anoop for 900 days, Shinoj for 925 days, Muhammed Shafi for 656 days and Rafeeq for 752 days. Kodi Suni has been granted parole for only two months under the Covid Special Leave, Ordinary Leave and Emergency Leave categories since 2018.
T P was murdered on May 4, 2012 at Onchiyam near Vadakara. He was hacked to death after being bombed. The case is that TP was murdered for leaving the CPM and forming a party called RMP.
